In this Norwegian course you will be following the book "På Vei". In the A2 level, you will cover the chapters from 9 to 16. All our Norwegian language courses include access to the digital version of the book and 24/7 access to På Vei e-learning platform.
Norwegian Course A2 – Elementary Level (Norskkurs A2 Grunnnivå)
Build on your basic knowledge with our A2 Elementary Norwegian Course (norskkurs A2).
This course is aimed at those who have completed A1 (or have equivalent beginner knowledge) and are eager to expand their ability to communicate in Norwegian about everyday activities and personal topics. In A2, you will broaden your vocabulary and learn to handle more complex sentences. Students will practice talking about their daily life, family, work, and past experiences in Norwegian.
You’ll learn to describe events in present, past, and future tenses – for example, talking about last weekend or planning an upcoming trip – enabling you to engage in longer conversations with locals. Grammar lessons cover plural forms, common adjectives and comparisons, past tenses (preteritum), and sentence structure for questions and negations, giving you the tools to express yourself more freely.
By the end of A2, you should be able to function independently in most everyday contexts, understand routine instructions and public announcements, and read/write simple paragraphs on familiar matters.

According to UDI, you are required to pass the exam at level A2 to request a permanent stay permit in Norway. You can find further details about this here.
Yes, in the end of the course you will receive a certificate of attendance. Please be aware that you must attend a minimum of 80% of the lessons to receive the certificate.
