This course is designed for students with no prior knowledge of Norwegian, guiding you through the fundamentals in a friendly, immersive environment. You’ll learn to understand and use basic everyday expressions, greetings, and simple sentences – perfect for handling daily situations like introducing yourself, ordering food, or asking for directions. Our experienced instructors emphasize practical vocabulary and correct pronunciation from day one, ensuring you build a strong foundation in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
By the end of A1, you will be able to participate in simple conversations at work or in social settings and understand slow, clear speech on familiar topics. The course also introduces essential grammar (such as present tense of common verbs and basic word order) and Norwegian culture, so you get a comprehensive introduction to Norwegian life and language.
If you want to study Norwegian but you do not have any previous experience with the language, this is the best course for you. In this course you will go through all the basics in terms of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation and work in all the components of the language: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
